After Corey Anderson asked fans for help paying medical expenses, his father Rick contradicted him and said everything had already been taken care of.

After a page on GoFundMe was created to help Corey Anderson, from “Pawn Stars,” pay medical expenses, his father Rick denied that his son had been left without support and said the situation had already been resolved.

Corey suffered a serious motorcycle accident in January that left him with 11 broken ribs, a punctured lung, a concussion and internal bleeding, and he had to remain hospitalized for more than two weeks.

A fundraising campaign was launched by Aron Chambers, a friend of Corey, who claimed the reality TV star had been left with more than $100,000 in debt.

“Being on television and part of the fame of Pawn Stars does not come with a built-in safety net for emergencies like this — medical crises do not care about celebrity status,” Chambers wrote in the campaign description.

After fans of “Pawn Stars” pointed out that his father, who still owns a pawn shop in Las Vegas, should cover the expenses, Rick said all of his son’s medical bills had already been paid, even before the GoFundMe page was created.

“As far as I know, I paid all of Corey’s medical bills long before he created the GoFundMe campaign,” Rick told Page Six. “He is an adult man in his 40s and is responsible for how he manages his finances.”

On social media, fans of “Pawn Stars” are divided; while some express support for Corey, others criticize the situation.

“There are thousands of people out there with no money who would never ask for help like this… fans have already given him enough and he wasted it all,” wrote one person.

“I hope you recover and come back better than ever. I love the Pawn Stars show and I’m a customer of your shop. I was surprised that you were doing an online fundraiser,” another commented.
